Longyear Museum tells the story of a unique and important figure in American religious history, the influential author and Christian reformer Mary Baker Eddy, who was the first American woman to establish an enduring worldwide religion. In addition to documents, artifacts, artwork and more, the museum’s collection includes eight historic homes in Massachusetts and New Hampshire that highlight the life journey and accomplishments of this pioneering religious leader.
